The control of the electric drive of drainage systems and the use of an automatic system is considered thebasic concept for the coincidence of the operation modes of pumps with sewage and water pipes. This articleexplains the ways to reduce the power consumption to a minimum and indicates the achieved economic effectsduring the automation process. Without automating the operating modes of pumping and blowing plants, energysavings cannot be achieved.
